I did the leather bookbinding workshop here. It was the best decision and experience to come here!!🫶 I was able to choose everything myself at my own pace. The owner, the lovely Ven, patiently explained everything to me and showed me how it all works. Since the aim here is to create a relaxed atmosphere, there are only ever a maximum of four or five people in a workshop. In my case, I was even alone and we had plenty of time to chat. I love this place and my new diary!! :) Thank you so much for the great time and inspiration of your work.😌🧚
It's the best coffee shop and workshop I've ever done. The business is run by 2 siblings, and they are the nicest persons. We went to the embroidery notebook workshop, and it took us about 6 hours with breaks. We dont have experience with embroidery, but Van guided us in every step and helped us get exactly what we wanted. She is super patient and lovely. This is also a coffee shop, so if you're getting hungry, it's super convenient. Van is making all the food, with her own recipes. And she's a great cooker and baker. Note that on Monday they only serve drinks and cakes&cookies. We ordered the chocolate chips cookies, and they were one of the best we have ever eaten in our life. The atmosphere is super cozy and calm. I can't recommend you more going to their place and see what they have to serve. I will definitely come back!
Very nice place. I highly recommend the embroidery class. It's been a creative and very relaxing moment. Also enjoyed the little talks and what I learned. If you come to Hoi An it worths a visit.
I had such a great time with Wang in Sowers craft workshop. I chose to make a notebook with my own embroidery. Because my design was pretty difficult it generally took me 2 days to finish it completely, though I think it was possible to be finished in one day but only if you do it whole day long :) So Wang tought me everything, followed the process just enough to ensure I'm doing well on my own and in the meantime we had some nice conversations. Also its a cafe so you could get some drinks and small food but if you want to have a proper lunch or dinner she can order you something from the restaurant nearby. I would recommend everyone who loves DIY things go to Wang and learn something new for you!
I did a notebook workshop that was amazing! The woman is so nice and caring, was patient and gave great recommendations for things to do and eat around. Super recommend to do a workshop here!

I did an embroidery workshop, There are a few options for what the final object can be, a lot of dofferent colors of fabric and strings. I had a great time, The women leading it spoke English very well (although hand gestures also worked with the other one)
She made a small coin wallet with the fabrics according to my design also.
You can also make your own design notebook, just the cover, or even do the binding of the pages.

אומנם לא אכלתי או שתיתי שם אבל הגעתי ורקמתי לעצמי את הכיסוי של המחברת. הן מקצועיות ברמות וממש עוזרות בכל פעם שאתה צריך ומלמדות אותך טכניקות שיקלו על העשייה וישפרו אותך והן לא משתלטות לך. רוב העשייה היא שלך אני וחברה שלי מאוד נהננו ומאוד ממליצות!

I highly recommend the embroidery workshop. It's held at the Sowers Cafe in Hoi An. I had a lesson from Truyen. I had done a little embroidery before, but never tackled a piece like this. She was very patient and gave me complete choice of design advising on difficulty etc. She showed me how to transfer the design onto the fabric, and then demonstrated the stitches to use to make the picture - helping me to make them correctly. After 3 hours I was ready to continued on my own. I bought the hoop and took away with me enough coloured thread to finish. I've been working on my picture and I'm so pleased with how it's coming along. I find doing the embroidery so relaxing and peaceful. I learnt so much, and have discovered a new hobby. Thank you!
I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s such a lovely little shop where you can either buy straight off the shelf (they do more than just journals!), order custom made journals or join a workshop and make your own journal with the help of the owners who are so incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Me and my two friends had such a great time here making our own journals and the owners obviously enjoy what they do (and are very good at it too) and were really patient with me as I was quite ambitious with my first real embroidery attempt. I ended up staying much longer than the class was supposed to be but I felt welcomed the whole time and enjoyed fruit, water and Vietnamese treats. I’m really pleased with how my journal turned out and think it just goes to show how good the owners are at teaching their craft. My only regret is I didn’t have the time or space to make a leather journal as well as they look absolutely beautiful. Thank you both so much!
Best workshop in Hoi an!!! I did both book binding and embroidery and loved them! The staff are very patient, nice and professional. I definitely would and will recommend people to come!
Had the greatest time at the workshop! The owners were the sweetest and I had good time talking with them while working. They both have good English and explain very clearly what to do. I truly recommend it very much!
I was in the workshop with my 5.5 year old son. The staff was charming and patient, they helped with everything needed and the most fun was that we created a special souvenir that will accompany us on our journey.

Wir haben nicht nur viel gelernt, sondern auch eine großartige Zeit mit den anderen Teilnehmern verbracht.
